Deliverance affirmations can cover a multitude of sins. Many times I’ve been in situations where I just couldn’t see my way clear. I literally needed to be delivered from one evil or another. In my years before I came to know Christ as I do now, my deliverance from a situation usually meant that I had to go through “the school of hard knocks” in order to survive. As you may very well know, hard knocks can leave bruises, emotionally and otherwise.
Nowadays, when I’m faced with a seemingly insurmountable situation, I turn to the word of God and find a word from Him to deliver me from my situation. I know that “The Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) I also know that God’s Word is true because “God is not a man that He should lie.” (Numbers 23:19) So I go to the bible and find God’s deliverance affirmations and speak them over my situation. Here are some biblical affirmations that work for me:
“The Lord is a shield for me, my glory and One who lifts up my head. I am not afraid of people who set themselves against me all around. “(Psalm 3:3, 6)
“God delivers me from my enemies and defends me from those who rise up against me.” (Psalm 59:1)
“Surely God delivers me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. No evil befalls me, nor does any plague come near my dwelling; because I set my love upon the Lord, he delivers me; the Lord sets me on high because I know His name. I call upon God and He answers and is with me in trouble; God delivers me and honors me. With long life God satisfies me, and shows me His salvation.” (Psalm 91:3, 10, 14-16)
“God’s hand is not shortened that it cannot redeem…and God has power to deliver. The Lord God helps me; therefore I am not disgraced…and I know that I am not ashamed. He is near who justifies me.” (Isaiah 50:2, 7-8)
“I have been delivered from the law, having died to what I was held by, and I serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.” (Romans 7:6)
“Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, having become a curse for me.” (Galatians 3:13)
“I stand fast in the liberty by which Christ has made me free, and I am not entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” (Galatians 5:1)
“The Lord delivers me from every evil work and preserves me for His heavenly kingdom.” (2 Timothy 4:18)
“God gave Himself for me, that He might redeem me from every lawless deed and purify me for Himself…and I am zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:14)
Remember “death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (Proverbs 18:21) So when you put God’s living word in your mouth, God’s deliverance affirmations have the power to go to work and deliver you from your situation.
God bless you. May His peace rest gently upon you.
