Faith

Faith affirmations are just what they seem. Like all affirmations, they are “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) “Without faith, it is impossible to please God.” (Hebrews 11:6) I don’t know about you, but I want nothing more than to be pleasing to God.

Often times, when I pray, I pray that I can be more like God. My desire is to say what I hear the Father say and do what I see the Father do. Did you know that God used faith to create the world? The bible says, “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” (Hebrews 11:3) In other words God used His faith by speaking His word because His faith is in His word.

Speaking faith affirmations will strengthen you in every area of you life. Remember, you get what you say when you pray, if you believe (have faith). Here are some that I use.

“I walk by faith and no by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)

“Without faith it is impossible to please God. I can come to God because I believe that He is and that He does reward me because I diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

“I lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares me, and I run with endurance the race that is set before me, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, an has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1-2)

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but my faith working through love.” (Galatians 5:6)

“Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. I show you my faith by my works (corresponding action).” (James 2:17, 18)

“I am a believer and not a doubter. I hold fast to my confession of faith. I decide to walk by faith and practice faith in order to please Him. My faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Jesus is the author and the developer of my faith.” (Hebrews 4:14, 11:6, 12:2, Romans 10:17)

“I show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end. I do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promise.” (Hebrews 6:11-12)

Remember my friend, life is a faith fight. The word says, “Fight the good fight of faith.” (1 Timothy 6:12) I don’t know about you but at the end of my life I want to be able to say, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

May the peace of God rest gently upon you.
