Peace Affirmations are oftentimes what we really need, even though we may think we are in need of some tangible or material object. To have peace means to be in a spiritual mindset where there is nothing missing, nothing lacking, and nothing broken. Although the world around us may appear to be falling apart, peace stills our bodies and our minds and reassures us that God is in charge and all is well. Let us pray.
God keeps me in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on Him,
because I trust in Him. (Isaiah 26:3)
I lie down in peace, and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. (Psalm 4:8)
God has redeemed my soul in peace from battle that was against me.
(Psalm 55:18)
I have great peace because I love your law, and nothing causes me to stumble. (Psalm 119:115)
The Lord knows the thoughts that He thinks toward me, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give me a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
I have the peace that Jesus gives to me. My heart is not troubled; neither do I let it be afraid. (John 14:27)
I have peace in Jesus. In the world, there is tribulation; but I am of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world. (John 16:33)
I am not anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, I let my requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guards my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Father I thank you for these peace affirmations. I believe that I receive what I pray according to Your word, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
