Strength

Spiritual strength is something that I depend upon to get me through difficult situations.  As always, I turn to the word of God.  His “word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalms 119:105) It makes my way clear and points me in the right direction.  Remembering that death and life are in the power of the tongue and that my words do not return to me void, I say the following affirmations.

I am strong and of good courage, I do not fear and I am not afraid of them; for the Lord my God, He is the One who goes with me.  He will not leave me or forsake me. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

God is my strength and my power, and He makes my way perfect.  He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places. (2 Samuel 22:33)

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; the war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. (Psalm 27:1, 3)

God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble.
(Psalm 46:1)

I fear not, for God is with me.  I am not dismayed He strengthens me and helps me; He upholds me with His righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake.  For when I am weak, then I am strong.
(2 Corinthians 12:10)

I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10)

The Lord is sustaining me and He rescues me. (Isaiah 46:4)

The Lord is strengthening me and helping me; He upholds me with His righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:14)
