This prayer for peace of mind will strengthen you in every area of your life. There is power is God’s Word and you will see that power manifested when you put God’s word in your mouth and believe that you receive what God’s Word says.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I make the quality decision today to allow Your word to be first place and final authority in my life. I put my total trust and confidence in You and Your willingness as well as Your ability to provide for me in every area of my life. I choose to consider Your Word. I don’t look to the circumstances around me. They do not determine whether I walk in victory or defeat. Your word is my rock, my fortress, and my strong tower of protection. I’m not afraid of evil tidings, for my heart is established. Trusting in Your Word, I will not be moved.
You are Jehovah Shalom, the Lord our peace. (Judges 6:24) My mind is fixed on you because Your word says that You will keep me in perfect peace if I keep my mind on You. (Isaiah 26:3) Even when I sleep Your word says that I will lie down in peace, and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. (Psalm 4:8) Because I love Your law, I have great peace, and nothing causes me to stumble. (Psalm 119:165) Furthermore, the thoughts that you think toward me are thoughts of peace and not evil, to give me a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11) I am not anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, I let my requests be made known to You, God, and Your peace which surpasses all understanding, guards my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus.
My delight is in Your Word and my righteousness endures forever. I am blessed. My horn is exalted with honor. Satan has no opportunity to dominate me or my family or the affairs of our lives. We walk with confidence that Satan’s desire to bring us harm, discouragement or misfortune has perished and come to nothing. We remain in the secret place of the Most High for our hearts are fixed, trusting in You, Lord, and therefore, our ways are established and ordered by You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
