Praising God focuses our attention on Him and moves us beyond the veils of worldly distractions so that the presence of God becomes visible to us.
Praise Prayer is intended to usher us into God’s presence. We enter into God’s presence with praise, because His Word tells us that He inhabits the praises of His people. (Psalm 22:3) God is always present. He is Jehovah Shammah, the Lord our Ever-Present God. (Ezekiel 48:35) Worldly distractions (fear, lust, pride) veil His presence. Praising God focuses our attention on Him and moves us beyond the veils of worldly distractions so that the presence of God becomes visible to us.
Let us pray.
